Ouro Preto, Brazil's city of gold

This place is famous for a large amount of gold lies deep underground and unique architecture with Barque style.

As the city of Minas Gerais state, Ouro Preto is known for large gold reserves deep underground. Jusus de Matoijadinho O Cogenhas do Campo Cathedral is also a popular destination. Construction period of the church lasted 181 years (1796-1977) with a series of statues representing the last supper scene of Jesus and the 12 apostles.
